The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Db2 for z/OS administration, performance tuning, and replication technologies and a proven ability to own complex production issues, deliver reliable upgrades and migrations, and optimize system and application performance., * Expertise with Db2 for z/OS, including subsystem administration and utilities. * Proficiency with z/OS, MVS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and JES2/JES3. * Working knowledge of CICS, IMS, RACF, DFSMS, and SMP/E. * Strong SQL and experience with one or more of COBOL, REXX, CLIST, SAS, or Assembler. * Hands-on experience with Q Replication, SQL Replication, and Change Data Capture. * Knowledge of Db2 Connect and Informatica PowerExchange. * Familiarity with performance and monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON, IntelliMagic, MXG, BMC MainView, Apptune, Query Monitor, TMON, Strobe, or Db2PM. * Experience with TWS/OPC, SA z/OS, and NetView. * 5+ years in relevant roles. Preferred Skills: * Advanced performance tuning and recovery expertise in Db2 for z/OS. * Experience leading upgrades, migrations, and complex production issue resolution.
