## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Geography, GIS, Statistics, Planning, Computer Science, or related field

 + 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, mobility data, GIS, or data assessment
 + Experience evaluating large datasets and analytical methodologies
 + Strong reporting, visualization, and communication skills
 + Experience supporting public-sector or consulting engagements preferred

## Description

BVA Bear's IT Solutions is seeking a part-time Senior Data Analytics & Location-Based Services (LBS) Lead. This role Leads evaluation of LBS data, analytical methodologies, provider comparisons, data integration opportunities, and development of data-driven recommendations supporting visitor-use management and strategic decision-making. The location of this position, when needed on-site, is Harrisburg, PA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 + Evaluate multiple LBS providers and methodologies
 + Assess data quality, coverage, accuracy, and analytical capabilities
 + Analyze visitor origins, travel patterns, dwell times, and visitation trends
 + Support development of case studies and comparative assessments
 + Identify data gaps and integration opportunities
 + Develop analytical reports, findings, and recommendations
 + Support economic, recreation, and operational analyses
 + Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
