In this role, the successful candidate The Logistics Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and analysis of databases of automated dispensing machines and other automated devices. In addition, the Logistics Analyst manages staff, through necessary training, and troubleshoots hardware/software related issues as they pertain to the use of the automated dispensing systems and other pharmacy technologies, * Creates, updates, and maintains automated dispensing systems departmental drug databases in coordination with Epic. * Creates, updates, and maintains automated dispensing systems user databases in coordination with staffing and departmental/interdepartmental policies. * Monitors controlled substance circulation and other designated non-controlled medications for possible diversion. * Develop programs and design workflows to maximize efficiencies of the automated dispensing process. Implement these programs/workflows with training modules and subsequent monitoring for compliance/optimization. * Reviews, monitors, and adjusts daily automated systems pharmaceutical restock requests to pharmacy wholesaler ordering systems.
