## About the Role

This engineer will be an integral member of a joint Government and contractor team that operates in a dynamic, energetic, and collaborative environment that emphasizes growth. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic, driven self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and desire an opportunity to influence and develop SmallSat systems. This is a rich opportunity to rapidly mature your technical/mentoring skills by being involved in every aspect of small satellite design including, documentation, analysis, fabrication, integration, testing, launch, and operations., * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science and 4-10 years of relevant experience or a master's degree and 2-8 years of relevant experience

 * Basic knowledge of multiple fields: mechanical, electrical, thermal, optical, software, controls, astrodynamics, navigation, propulsion, or guidance
 * Knowledge of system engineering tools and analysis methods
 * Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment
 * Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Strong attention to detail while still having a system-level perspective
 * Some travel may be required, * Existing TS/SCI clearance
 * 4+ years of relevant spacecraft systems engineering or advanced degree(s) in a related field
 * In-depth familiarity with small satellites, systems requirements and subsystems
 * Experience with space hardware development and testing
 * Understanding of space environment
