VirtSat provides high-fidelity emulation of satellite hardware on cloud infrastructure, serving 70+ downstream engineering pipelines and enabling continuous integration of embedded flight software without requiring physical hardware. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum., In this role, you will own delivery of programs spanning embedded software, cloud infrastructure, hardware emulation, and test automation. You will work across the full VirtSat stack - from QEMU-based hardware emulation and embedded Linux bring-up, through cloud provisioning workflows and API reliability, to end-to-end integration with payload, networking, security, and OTA teams. You will define program strategy, drive platform availability improvements, coordinate subsystem onboarding, build operational mechanisms, and ensure VirtSat meets the fidelity and reliability bar required by its consumers. This is an individual contributor role with broad cross-organizational influence. You will partner closely with embedded software engineers, cloud service developers, and test automation teams to deliver a platform that satellite software teams depend on daily.
