Preferred Qualifications: * Experience migrating Oracle databases to PostgreSQL. * Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Python, .NET, or Node.js for API integration. * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. * Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. * Oracle and/or PostgreSQL certifications are a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. ## Description Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex SQL queries, PostgreSQL database objects, including functions, procedures, triggers, and views using PL/pgSQL., Database Migration & Conversion: Analyze Oracle database objects, map dependencies, and assist in migrating Oracle PL/SQL code to PostgreSQL while ensuring functionality and performance. Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot slow-running SQL queries, optimize execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning, and database performance across Oracle and PostgreSQL environments. API Development & Integration (Preferred): Design, develop, consume, and support RESTful APIs for seamless integration between databases and enterprise applications. Collaborate with application teams to expose database services through APIs. Data Integration: Build, maintain, and support ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure accurate and efficient data movement across systems. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, architects, and business analysts to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality database solutions.
