## About the Role

* 10+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 / SharePoint experience.
 * Strong recent experience with SharePoint Online and enterprise ECM implementations.
 * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Records Management, including:

 * Retention labels/policies
 * File plans
 * Records declaration
 * Disposition
 * Records classification and governance

Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online configuration - Content Types, Site Columns, Managed Metadata/Term Store, Libraries, Search, Permissions, and document lifecycle.

Hands-on experience with SharePoint Premium / Syntex for document classification, metadata extraction, and intelligent content management.

Strong understanding of Enterprise Information Architecture, Taxonomy, Metadata, Records Management, Retention, and Governance.

Experience handling complex metadata/taxonomy structures across multiple business units/bureaus.

Experience with document/content migration, including metadata, permissions, and records validation.

Experience integrating SharePoint/Purview with Power Automate and Microsoft 365 services.

Strong experience in solution architecture, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Public-sector, government, legal, regulatory, or compliance-heavy experience is highly preferred.

## Description

Looking for a true Lead/Architect-level resource who is hands-on, not just a SharePoint Administrator. Candidate should be comfortable leading the ECM/Records Management workstream and interacting directly with architects, technical teams, and client stakeholders.
