## About the Role

* Databricks experience is mandatory.
 * Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
 * Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines in cloud-native environments.
 * Understanding of data modeling, orchestration, automation, and quality frameworks.
 * Experience with DevOps practices supporting data engineering workflows.
 * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with government stakeholders.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

 - Experience supporting government or mission-critical data systems.
 * Familiarity with data lakehouse architecture patterns.
 * Experience with dashboarding or analytics tools supporting mission users.
 * Knowledge of cloud services supporting Databricks-based environments.

## Description

* Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines supporting mission critical workflows.
 * Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, quality, and sustainment.
 * Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable data engineering solutions.
 * Ensure long-term reliability, observability, and performance of production data systems.
 * Develop and operate solutions within Databricks (mandatory), consistent with mission platform operations.
 * Produce documentation, diagrams, data models, and sustainment procedures.
 * Support troubleshooting, optimization, and enhancements to production systems.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional technical and mission teams to align engineering outputs with program goals.
