## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 * Minimum 3.0 GPA.
 * Strong technical writing for calculation notes and topical report authorship/verification.
 * Ability to interpret technical reports and collaborate effectively on technical questions.
 * Working toward a professional engineering license.
 * At least 1 year of experience with Ansys Workbench / APDL, MATLAB, and Mathcad.

Your Impact
Reporting to the Manager, Reactor Vessel and Containment Vessel Design & Analysis, you will contribute to fatigue aging management initiatives. This hybrid position is based at Westinghouse Headquarters in Cranberry, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area) with 2 in-office days per week.
How You'll Contribute

 * Execute and document ASME Section III and Section XI analyses with a collaborative engineering team.
 * Create ASME design specifications and design reports; prepare design and assembly drawings to transition designs into production.
 * Interface with suppliers during manufacturing and assembly to uphold design intent and quality.
 * Coordinate with other disciplines to support design, qualification, fabrication, and installation of nuclear components.
 * Present technical conclusions and project updates to peer audiences.
