## About the Role

Kforce has a client in Draper, UT that is seeking a senior-level AI Engineer to help build and accelerate AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who uses modern AI development tools to move quickly, improve efficiency, and challenge traditional approaches to software development. This role is approximately 80% AI Engineering and 20% Data Science, with Data Science experience considered a nice-to-have rather than a requirement.

 * Bachelor's or Master's degree highly preferred
 * Senior-level software/AI engineering experience
 * Strong Python and SQL development skills
 * Hands-on experience with Claude and/or Cursor for AI-assisted software development
 * Demonstrated history of using AI/developer-assist tools to create efficiencies, automate work, improve productivity, and accelerate development
 * Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
 * Experience building AI-powered applications and solutions
 * Comfortable with AI-assisted/"vibe coding" and using AI as an integral part of their development workflow
 * Highly hands-on and willing to write code-not simply manage or architect from a distance, * Data Science experience, including experience applying data analysis, modeling, or machine learning techniques
 * Experience with additional AI/LLM development tools and frameworks
 * Experience working with modern cloud and software engineering technologies
 * Experience identifying opportunities to automate or streamline development processes, * Fast-moving and highly efficient - finds ways to get things done rather than getting stuck in process
 * Passionate about technology and AI and genuinely interested in finding better ways to build
 * Experiment-oriented - willing to try things, learn quickly, and iterate
 * Challenges the status quo and asks, "Why can't we do this?"
 * Proactive and resourceful - sees an opportunity and pushes it forward
 * Comfortable operating in an environment where priorities and approaches can evolve quickly
 * Uses AI tools to dramatically increase personal productivity and development velocity
