 * Hungry to grow, humble in approach, and driven by outcomes

Preferred Background:

 * Experience managing or supporting cross-functional IT portfolios
 * Strong track record in strategic planning and benefits realization
 * Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes, playbooks, or governance frameworks
 * Background in consulting, transformation, or strategy roles is a plus
 * Industry experience in banking or financial services is helpful but not required

## Description

A Kforce client has an exciting opportunity in San Antonio, TX for an IT Portfolio Manager to help drive strategic execution across the IT project portfolio. This is a contract-to-hire position, and while much of the work is remote, candidate needs to be located in the San Antonio area to go onsite as needed., As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will serve as both a strategic partner and an execution driver, working closely with senior leaders-including CEO direct reports-to shape, manage, and deliver high-impact initiatives across the organization., * IT Portfolio Manager will partner with business line leaders to intake, define, and roadmap strategic initiatives

 * Support executive-level portfolio reviews through compelling visual and narrative storytelling
 * Monitor initiative progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies
 * Contribute to quarterly and annual planning, including benefits realization tracking
 * As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will assist in capacity and resource planning with IT and business stakeholders
 * Develop playbooks, frameworks, and process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness
 * Lead or support internal initiatives such as capability builds, maturity assessments, and governance redesigns
