## About the Role

* 8+ years experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications
 * Demonstrated technical leadership: leading design discussions, driving projects end to end, and acting as a go-to technical resource for the team
 * BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
 * Experience with AI frameworks, agentic workflows, and LLM integration (e.g., OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangGraph, CrewAI)
 * Strong experience with any of the following Object-Oriented Languages: Java/J2EE, C#, Python, Go, or similar
 * Strong experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
 * Solid grounding in the software design/architecture process, including distributed systems
 * Team player with the ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with multi-functional groups

Preferred Experience

 * Experience designing and implementing AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, or agent memory/context systems
 * Prompt engineering experience
 * Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale infrastructure or platform software
 * Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications and infrastructure
 * Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in relevant tech communities

## Description

* Design and build agentic platforms and workflows powering backend services - enabling capabilities such as code analysis, code generation, automated review, and autonomous task execution
 * Contribute to gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
 * Serve as a technical leader within the team: mentor fellow engineers, demonstrate technical expertise, and drive solutions to challenging programming and design problems
 * Roughly 50-70% hands-on coding
 * Create technical documentation to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams
 * Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive results
 * Drive continuous improvement with a focus on availability, usability, reusability, performance, maintainability, and cost
