Seeking a Senior Perimeter Design Engineer / Network Security Architect with strong enterprise Fortinet firewall design and architecture experience. The engineer will design, document, and govern enterprise perimeter security solutions, including firewall architecture, network segmentation, DMZ, VPN, NAT, HA, and security modernization initiatives. Must-Have Skills

 * Firewall architecture and design
 * HLD / LLD development
 * Firewall policy design
 * NAT, VPN, DMZ
 * Network/security segmentation
 * High Availability (HA) architecture
 * BGP, OSPF, Static Routing
 * TCP/IP networking
 * Network routing and switching
 * Security architecture and perimeter security
 * Experience with firewall migrations, upgrades, refreshes, and modernization

A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years in providing OS server administration on Windows, UNIX, or LINUX with significant exposure in internetworking technologies.
VMware Certification: VCP6+-DCV or VCP6+-CMA
Must have Arista or Arista CVP network experience, as well as Cisco experience.
Possess heavy knowledge/ experience with BGP, Routing and Switching
Python and Ansible would be considered.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

## Description

* Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for firewall/security solutions.
 * Design Fortinet firewall architecture, policies, NAT, VPN, DMZ, HA, and segmentation solutions.
 * Define firewall engineering standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.
 * Evaluate security, business, scalability, and infrastructure requirements.
 * Conduct architecture reviews and design validations.
 * Collaborate with Security Architecture, Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Project teams.
 * Review implementation plans against approved designs.
 * Support firewall migrations, upgrades, hardware refreshes, and modernization.
 * Troubleshoot complex firewall/network security issues and perform root-cause analysis.
 * Mentor engineering and operations teams.
 * Identify opportunities for security automation and operational improvements.
