* Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, and Kubernetes - GCP and Kubernetes certification held or in progress
 * Strong Infrastructure as Code skills: Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Shell Scripting
 * Expert-level Docker, Helm charts, and containerisation experience
 * Strong CI/CD expertise: Jenkins, Groovy pipelines, Git, and pipeline service design patterns
 * DevSecOps tooling experience: SonarQube, Checkmarx, container scanning
 * Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
 * Monitoring and observability experience: Datadog, Grafana, AppDynamics
 * Solid understanding of hybrid cloud, networking, and Firewall concepts
 * CKA/CKAD certification, CloudSQL, MemoryStore, enterprise networking, and API platform experience (desirable)

## Description

We're recruiting for 2x Senior GCP DevOps Consultants to lead the design, automation, and operation of scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud for a leading financial services organisation, leveraging Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. The role drives Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and DevSecOps practices to enable reliable, secure application deployments - managing enterprise-grade CI/CD ecosystems using Jenkins, Docker, Helm, and Git-based workflows, and collaborating across development, infrastructure, and operations teams to optimise platform reliability and automation across hybrid and public cloud environments., * Write and maintain high-quality Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Python, and Terraform

 * Manage Kubernetes clusters and hosting VMs on GKE, including GKE workload integration with MIGs, CloudSQL, and MemoryStore
 * Build enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including scripted pipelines in Groovy, multi-branching, webhooks, credentials, and permissions management
 * Manage Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts for API workload builds, integrations, and deployments
 * Perform Unix/Linux administration and Bash/Shell Scripting
 * Manage git branching strategy for builds using Java Maven and NPM build tools, with repositories such as Nexus and GCR
 * Integrate monitoring tooling - Datadog, AppDynamics, Grafana - across the platform
 * Automate build, deployment, and code scanning processes using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and container scanning, integrating tooling via web services through pipelines
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment processes
 * Work across hybrid and public cloud environments, applying enterprise DevOps practices including networking and Firewall considerations
