Any offer made will carefully take into account level of experience (including relevant industry experience), transferable relevant skills and previous relevant achievements., * A degree in a scientific, engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent. * Some experience communicating advanced technology. * Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain highly complex scientific or technical concepts clearly and accurately. * Experience creating high-quality technical marketing or science communication content across multiple formats and channels. * A proven ability to build trusted relationships with scientists, engineers and technical subject matter experts. * Strong curiosity and the ability to rapidly develop a deep understanding of new technologies and communicate their significance. * Experience working in deep technology sectors such as quantum computing, semiconductors, AI, photonics, advanced computing or enterprise software is highly desirable. * The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation, managing multiple projects from concept through to publication. * Excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail, with a commitment to technical accuracy and high-quality storytelling. ## Description We are looking for an exceptional technology and science communicator to showcase Riverlane's world-leading science and engineering in QEC. Working closely with our researchers, engineers, product and marketing teams, you will turn complex technical ideas into compelling stories that showcase Riverlane's technology advances, highlight advances in the wider QEC field, and amplify our continued progress and leadership in the field. You will lead the development of flagships content such as Riverlane's annual QEC Report. The role reports to the Director of Marketing.
