 * Methoden: Routine in GitOps-Workflows, automatisiertem Testing sowie im schnellen PoC-Aufbau.
 * Mindset: Analytisch, lösungsorientiert und begeistert von unabhängigen, hochskalierbaren Data-Management-Plattformen.
 * Sprachen: Fließende Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

## Description

Als Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d) konzipierst und entwickelst du innovative, hochskalierbare On-Premises- und Edge-Datenplattformen. Du bringst Batch- und Low-Latency-Streaming-Pipelines auf ein neues Level, integrierst moderne Open-Source-Technologien auf Kubernetes und treibst die Plattformautomatisierung voran, * Plattform-Architektur & Automatisierung: Konzeption und Entwicklung einer hochperformaten On-Premises- & Edge-Datenplattform inkl. Komponenten für Orchestrierung, Deployment und GitOps.

 * Pipelines & Workloads: Implementierung robuster Batch- und Low-Latency-Streaming-Datenpipelines auf Kubernetes-Clustern.
 * Storage & Data Arch: Anbindung und Verwaltung S3-kompatibler Storage-Lösungen sowie Integration moderner Datenarchitekturen (z. B. Medallion, Kappa).
 * Innovation & AI-Tools: Erstellung und Validierung von Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) - gerne unter Einsatz moderner KI-Coding-Tools (z. B. Cursor.ai).
 * Governance & Versionierung: Evaluierung und Integration von Datenkatalogen und Datenversionierungslösungen (z. B. Apache Iceberg).
 * Cross-functional Collaboration: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Lead Architects, Infrastruktur- und Security-Teams zur kontinuierlichen Bewertung und Einbindung neuer Technologien.
