Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Power BI and Analytics. Strong expertise in: Power BI (Reporting, DAX, Data Modeling) Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Service SQL Desirable: Data Engineering experience in Azure/Fabric environments Enterprise Reporting experience (Governance, Row-Level Security, Deployment) Experience in the automotive industry or other regulated environments 4.2 Language & Soft Skills Excellent German language skills (mandatory). Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders. 4.3 Resource Replacement Resource replacement requires TÜV SÜD approval. Replacement consultants must have equivalent qualifications. Structured knowledge transfer is mandatory when replacing resources. ## Description Objective: Support the design, development, and enhancement of Power BI reports in a Microsoft Fabric environment. Project language: German (mandatory), English (optional) Contract model: Time & Material Budget: €120,000 2. Background & Purpose To support ongoing Data & AI initiatives, there is an increased demand for reporting capabilities. The objective of this engagement is the rapid provision of one qualified specialist (1 FTE) with a primary focus on Power BI to provide operational support for creating and enhancing reporting solutions within a Microsoft Fabric environment. A supplementary Data Engineering component may be required but is secondary to the reporting focus. 3. Scope of Services 3.1 Primary Focus: Power BI / Reporting Design, develop, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards. Create and maintain semantic models. Develop high-performance data models (Star Schema, Measures, DAX). Translate business requirements into reporting solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders. 3.2 Additional Services (as required) Support data preparation and integration (e.g., Dataflows and Pipelines in Microsoft Fabric). Collaborate with Data Engineering and platform teams. Perform quality assurance and documentation. Work will be assigned flexibly based on TÜV SÜD's prioritized project requirements. 4. Supplier Requirements, Suppliers must provide consultant profiles including: CV/Resume Project references (especially Power BI and Microsoft Fabric) Availability 5. Deliverables Continuous delivery of services by the assigned FTE. Reporting-related deliverables including: Power BI reports and dashboards Semantic models and datasets DAX logic and data models Documentation (data models, business logic, KPI definitions) Optional Data Engineering deliverables such as Dataflows and Pipelines. 6. Service Hours & Response Times Standard business hours. Close collaboration within the project environment. Agile delivery with regular meetings and coordination. 7. Governance & Reporting Regular status reporting (e.g., weekly). Use of a shared backlog (e.g., Azure DevOps). Optional time tracking by task. 8. Customer Responsibilities TÜV SÜD will provide: Reporting requirements and prioritization. Access to data sources. Microsoft Fabric and Power BI infrastructure. Business stakeholder coordination. Acceptance of completed reports. 9. Acceptance & Quality Acceptance Criteria Functional correctness. Complete fulfillment of requirements. Performance. Compliance with reporting standards. Acceptance Process Business review. Formal approval. Rework if deviations are identified. Documentation of results. 10. Scope Definition In Scope Development and enhancement of Power BI reports. Data modeling and DAX. Business stakeholder collaboration. Support with data preparation. Out of Scope Production system operations and L1/L2 support. 24/7 support or on-call services. End-to-end data platform implementation. Ownership of business KPIs. Project management by the supplier. 11. Governance Structure Customer Roles Business Contact / Product Owner. Technical Contact. Supplier Role Operational implementation and delivery. Governance Work prioritization by TÜV SÜD. Escalation path: Project * Management. 12. Pricing & Billing A mandatory pricing sheet must be included in the proposal. Daily rate for each profile is required. Definition of a Person-Day (PD): 1 PD = 8 hours. Billing is based solely on actual hours worked. Travel and incidental expenses require prior approval. Hybrid working model with 1-2 days onsite at the customer location (Westendstraße 199) by agreement. 13.
