As the U.S. Air Force's primary flight trainer, the T-6A is critical to developing basic flying skills for Joint Primary Pilot Training students across the Air Force and Navy. This position provides a high-visibility and rewarding opportunity to support the modernization of the Air Force's primary trainer aircraft fleet., Additionally the Systems Engineer will leverage Systems Modeling Language (SysML) to develop, refine, and integrate architecture artifacts within a comprehensive Digital System Model (DSM). To ensure modeling quality and consistency, the role is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing a SysML style guide that promotes rigorous traceability across all activities. Additionally, the position will support requirements development and analysis, overseeing the delivery of Technical Data Packages and system engineering artifacts to manage integration throughout the system lifecycle and foster full alignment with program and customer objectives. The role requires frequent interaction with the Prime Contractor, Government customers, and multiple internal functional areas.
