## About the Role

+ 1 or more years' IT experience.
 + Solid understanding of networking and security including routing/networking and TCP-IP protocols.
 + Able to routinely lift at a minimum 40lb.
 + Strong attention to detail.
 + Strong communication skills
 + Strong organizational skills
 + Strong customer service skills
 + Curiosity and strong desire to constantly learn.
 + Proficient in Microsoft Office's suite of programs.
Minimum Qualifications/Technical and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, CCNA or an equivalent from another manufacturer/vendor (Network+, JNCIA, ACSA), Valid Driver's License, and Clean Driving Record.

## Description

****We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is an onsite position within our Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:

 + Maintain strong working relationships with customer and team.
 + Work on site hardware failure cases for Netsync's Network Support service contracts.
 + Perform network appliance installations.
 + Customer, Partner/Vendor and cross-department relationship/partnership management.
 + Manage and update support cases in Customer, Netsync and OEM systems.
 + Collaborate with team to maintain availability for 24x7 support.
Additional Duties:

 + Assist in continual improvement to further streamline and automate existing processes and procedures.
 + Assist Netsync's NOC with Network Support cases.
 + Continued technical education in the networking field.
 + Assist with end user compute repairs.
 + Upkeep of work area.
 + Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings.
 + Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
