Preferred QualificationsRedhat Linux Certification (RHCSA/RHCT/RHCE).Familiarity with HCI, VMWare, SAN management and Storage concepts.Working Knowledge of Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP.Strong problem solving and communication skills.Working knowledge of ITSM Tools (Service Now). ## Description Primary ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux Environment.Configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers.Deployment and migration of applications and Oracle databases.Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux Systems.Write and troubleshoot Linux Shell Scripts.Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers.
