## Description

The Director, IT Project Management Office leads and manages a portfolio of technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role works in a matrixed capacity to develop and report on the IT project portfolio. In addition to oversight of the project portfolio, they will define and intake process, project prioritization and analysis, and outtake process. Working with a matrixed team of IT leaders and project managers, this role will mentor and guide the project leadership to manage project lifecycles 'from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution and delivery. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to implement IT solutions that align with the organization's business goals. They will take the lead as the Project Director for the ERP Implementation. They will possess strong leadership experience with a proven record to drive successful change initiatives as required for complex, 1. Project Portfolio, Standards, and Strategies:

 2. Develop portfolio standards and procedures for key project management tasks. In addition to project lifecycle, procedures would include intake, assessment, prioritization rubric, approval, assignment, and execution.
 3. Develop and implement comprehensive project management strategies and plans to support the successful adoption of projects. This includes assessing change impacts, identifying stakeholders, developing communication and training plans, and defining success metrics
 4. Develop tools to help IT leaders and project managers deliver quality project management deliverables
 5. Mature the ServiceNow project management tool to provide easy status updates and dashboard capabilities
 6. Provide strategic direction and guidance on project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
 7. Oversee the selection, prioritization, and management of a project portfolio that aligns with the organization's goals.
 8. Ensure resource allocation and management across all projects to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
 9. Produce dashboards and status of the overall portfolio as well as individual projects
 10. In collaboration with the CIO cabinet, produce strategic project forecast that aligns to 5-year plan
 11. Project Management
 12. Lead, manage, and oversee multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet business needs, technical requirements, and budget constraints.
 13. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
 14. Establish clear project goals, define project scope, and set measurable milestones.
 15. Identify risks and issues early, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
 16. Stakeholder Engagement:
 17. Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in, alignment, and support for change initiatives
 18. Engage in executive sponsors, executive leadership, project teams, business leaders, and frontline employees to ensure holistic approach to project and change management
 19. Identify gaps and other potential issues such as shadow systems and resistance factors
 20. Partner with organizational change management and change networks for long term reinforcement and adoption
 21. Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to enable them to effectively lead and support their teams throughout the project, including managing resistance and fostering a culture of agility and acceptance
 22. Act as liaison between IT, cross-functional teams, organizational stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment for successful project delivery
 23. Communication and Outreach:
 24. Develop and deliver targeted communication and engagement plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process, including town hall meetings, workshops, newsletters, and other communication channels.
 25. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics
 26. Build support for project management by hosting educational forums, brown bag luncheons, or other opportunities to grow project management within the IT organization
 27. Change Readiness Assessment:
 28. Assess the organization's readiness for change, including cultural readiness, change capacity, and resistance factors, and develop strategies to address gaps and barriers to change
 29. Work together with the communications team to ensure effective change management occurs
 30. Quality and Measurement:
 31. Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure project progress and outcomes
 32. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and course correction
 33. Conduct lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects
 34. Documentation and Administration:
 35. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, resource plans, risk management plans, and status reports.
 36. Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, issues, and risks.
 37. Develop and manage the PMO department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects are financially viable
 38. Build departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, and knowledge to ensure effective team administration
 39. Ensure all board motions and contracts are handled in a timely manner to eliminate any risk of service disruption or project delays
 40. Develop team members
 41. Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned, * Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
 * Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
 * Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

 * May be fully reassigned to other LSC locations if necessary
