Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Test Engineer - **Company:** Planned Systems International - **Location:** Columbia, MD, United States (Remote available) - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Databases, Data Validation, Data Integrity, DevOps, Health Information Management, Health Information Technology, Microsoft Office, Oracle (Applications), Microsoft PowerPoint, Rhapsody, Microsoft SharePoint, Software Deployment, Verification and Validation (Software), Test Data, Web Applications - **Published:** August 22, 2026 - **Apply:** https://jobs.localjobnetwork.com/apply/add/88116290/1 ## About the Role * Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related discipline. * Experience with Oracle Millennium EHR * Must understand Web-based applications. * Must be capable of utilizing organizationally established architecture tools, repositories, and repository management processes to capture, publish, and maintain artifacts. * Candidate must possess good interpersonal skills as well as have excellent oral and written communications skills and is able to appropriately convey technical information considering audience. * Candidate should have experience producing effective client deliverable analysis reports with little to no supervision. * Must have ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks, if necessary, handle changing priorities, be detail oriented, and be able to work independently * Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and obtain a Government-granted Security clearance. * Required Technical/Business Tools Experience: + MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) + Communication tools (Teams, SharePoint) Desired Qualifications * Access to VA network is a big plus. * Any VA or DoD healthcare or architecture/engineering experience would be a plus. * Specific experience in the Veterans Affairs environment and with VistA (including but not limited to Health Information Exchange, DEERS/Rhapsody, Millennium, VA Profile) preferred. * Experience in Large Application Deployment and DevOps implementations. * Knowledge of COTS and GOTS systems/products/services evaluation is preferred * In-depth understanding and knowledge of Health Information Technology (HIT) policies and procedures, patient care/clinical business processesare preferred but not mandatory. * Experience using Risk based testing methodologiesis preferred but not mandatory * Experience with: + Micro Focus Application Lifecyle Management (ALM) + Risk based testing methodologies + Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing Additional Information PMP, CSM certifications are preferred but not mandatory, however ability to obtain those certifications, if hired to perform above duties is required.
