As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the AWS Incident Prevention team, you'll own products that help thousands of AWS service teams test and improve their resilience posture, and build the next-generation intelligence layer that detects, prevents, and remediates failure modes before they become incidents-directly reducing the frequency and duration of operational events across all of AWS. The team is is building a unified detection-to-mitigation experience that meets engineers where they are in the software development lifecycle. Pairing deep technical expertise with customer-focussed product intuition, you will own the the technical architecture of AI-powered products that orchestrate resilience testing and turn complex incident data into quality-gated resilience insights that drive action. You will work backwards from customers to own the ideation, design, and delivery of high-quality software while making high-judgment trade-offs across customer impact, software complexity, security and reliability, and engineering velocity.
