The role has ownership across video architecture, codec integration, performance optimization, debugging, and production hardening. This role requires hands-on expertise in Android multimedia, Codec2/AIDL integration, hardware video encode/decode, video HAL/vendor behavior, kernel and firmware diagnostics, camera-to-video pipelines, display interaction, and end-to-end validation for real-time conferencing, streaming, capture, playback, and encode/decode use cases. The engineer will work across firmware, BSP, camera, display, hardware, application, QA, and silicon/vendor teams to turn platform video capabilities into reliable product behavior.
