In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex tax and business requirements into effective SAP solutions, with a particular focus on VAT/GST, tax determination, FI/SD/MM integration, SAP DRC, and external tax engines such as ONESOURCE or Sovos. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other SAP functional experts to ensure accurate tax determination, regulatory compliance, and reliable end-to-end tax processes across high-volume transaction environments., * Analyze business and tax requirements and design automated tax determination solutions within SAP S/4HANA. * Configure and optimize tax determination using SAP condition technique. * Ensure accurate VAT/GST calculation across relevant business scenarios and transaction types. * Investigate and resolve complex tax calculation issues in high-volume transaction environments. Cross-Module Integration * Design and maintain tax-related integration across FI, SD, and MM. * Ensure consistent tax treatment across the end-to-end supply chain. * Analyze dependencies between financial, sales, procurement, and tax processes. * Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to implement integrated solutions. Tax Engine & External Solutions * Configure and maintain interfaces between SAP and external tax engines such as ONESOURCE and Sovos. * Support real-time tax rate calculation and ensure reliable data exchange between SAP and external solutions. * Troubleshoot integration and interface issues affecting tax determination. Digital Reporting & Statutory Compliance * Support the implementation of country-specific statutory and tax requirements in Germany and across EU countries. * Contribute to solutions covering e-invoicing, real-time reporting, SAF-T, and other digital reporting requirements. * Support SAP DRC-related processes and ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements.
