## About the Role

* Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and networking.
 * Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar.
 * Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.
 * Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
 * Understanding of incident response and threat detection.
 * Knowledge of Linux and Windows security.
 * Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure).
 * Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
 * Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001., * Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
 * Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+, CISSP, or OSCP are a plus.
 * Experience with cloud security and identity/access management.
 * Experience with EDR/XDR and vulnerability management platforms., * 1-3 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Good communication and documentation skills.
 * Experience working in a security operations or enterprise IT environment or .
 * Strong understanding of current cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.

## Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Cyber Security Engineer to protect systems, networks, applications, and data from security threats. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security tools., * Monitor security systems, networks, and applications for potential threats.

 * Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
 * Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
 * Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures.
 * Analyze security logs and alerts using SIEM tools.
 * Assist with threat detection, incident response, and security investigations.
 * Conduct risk assessments and security audits.
 * Work with IT and development teams to resolve security vulnerabilities.
 * Maintain documentation related to security incidents and controls.
 * Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
