## About the Role

+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.

 + AT Level I Certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Security+, etc.)

 + Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

 + Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain and maintain program access. Top Secret after start.

Qualifications We Prefer

 + Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing protocols, and troubleshooting (e.g., OSPF, BGP, DNS, VLANs).

 + Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or military environment.

 + Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).

 + Experience with configuring and managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

 + Experience with PowerShell, Bash and/or Python scripting.

## Description

+ Administer and maintain systems supporting the SPY-6 radar family, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

 + Perform system troubleshooting and resolve hardware, software, and network issues as they arise and collaborate with cross-functional teams to do so.

 + Conduct regular system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.

 + Maintain and configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.

 + Implement and maintain system security measures in accordance with DoD standards and protocols.

 + Support network configurations, including IP address management, VLAN configurations, SAN and Layer 3 Switches management.

 + Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
