## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience with COBOL/Mainframe development.
 * Strong experience with JCL and Mainframe batch processing.
 * Experience working in AIX/Unix environments.
 * Experience with Shell/Unix scripting and batch processing.
 * Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
 * Experience with Mainframe utilities and production support processes.
 * Experience troubleshooting batch jobs and production issues.
 * Understanding of application development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and change management.
 * Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience in healthcare insurance/payer systems, particularly Commercial Enrollment.
 * Experience with enrollment, membership, eligibility, claims, billing, or related healthcare systems.
 * Experience working with external software vendors and third-party applications.
 * Knowledge of data integrations and file-based interfaces.
 * Experience with incident/problem management and production support tools.
