Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications * Experience with VMware virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, or comparable virtualization platforms. * Experience creating, configuring, deploying, maintaining, or troubleshooting virtual machines. * Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and related enterprise services. * Exposure to cloud computing environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms. * Familiarity with configuration management, version control, or automation tools. * Experience using ticketing, incident management, or IT service management platforms. * Experience working in classified DoD, Intelligence Community, or other secure government environments * Experience working with Ubuntu/RHEL. ## Description Arion Systems, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a motivated IT Systems Engineer I/II to support mission-critical information technology systems within the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This position is designed for an IT professional who has established foundational systems administration and engineering skills and is ready to expand technical capabilities while supporting complex systems in a secure operational environment. The IT Systems Engineer will work as part of an integrated technical team responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, configuring, testing, and improving enterprise IT systems and associated infrastructure. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical curiosity, sound troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
