## About the Role

* A minimum of 8 years of related application development experience.
 * 5+ years with Microsoft's .NET development platforms, specifically .NET Framework 4.6.2 and 4.8.
 * Significant experience with C#.
 * Entity Framework 6 or earlier using a Database-First approach.
 * SQL Server, including writing and troubleshooting complex T-SQL.
 * Object-oriented programming and common design patterns.
 * Unit testing with NUnit, xUnit, or a comparable framework.
 * Continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure DevOps.
 * Working experience on an agile team using Scrum or Kanban methodology.
 * Demonstrated experience mentoring, leading, or setting technical direction for other developers.
 * Willingness to work in and support legacy codebases, including Classic ASP and VBScript.
 * Strong oral and written communication skills, including communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
 * Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
These are genuinely nice to have. We encourage you to apply if you meet the required qualifications above but not all of the following.

 * Hands-on Classic ASP or VBScript experience.
 * SSIS/DTSX and SSRS.
 * Microsoft web or mobile application development (UWP, Xamarin Forms, MAUI).
 * Experience working with offshore development partners.
 * Experience modernizing or migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET 8 or later.
