## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field preferred.
 * Proven experience in network administration or a related IT infrastructure role.
 * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, routing, and switching.
 * Experience administering wired and wireless network environments.
 * Familiarity with firewalls, network security technologies, and access controls.
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
 * Ability to monitor and diagnose network performance issues.
 * Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
 * Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and network security practices.
 * Excellent communication and organizational skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
 * Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.

Preferred Certifications
Candidates with relevant certifications are encouraged to apply, including certifications such as:

## Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Network Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
The Network Administrator will support network availability, performance, security, and reliability while collaborating with IT teams, employees, vendors, and leadership to resolve technical issues and improve network operations., * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.

 * Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity.
 * Manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, and related systems.
 * Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
 * Configure and maintain network security controls and access policies.
 * Manage user access, permissions, and network authentication.
 * Monitor network traffic and investigate unusual activity.
 * Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and configuration changes.
 * Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
 * Assist with network upgrades, expansions, migrations, and technology implementations.
 * Support remote employees with VPN, connectivity, and network-related issues.
 * Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity problems.
 * Maintain backup and disaster-recovery procedures related to network infrastructure.
 * Follow IT security policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
 * Participate in incident response and resolve network-related service disruptions.
