## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
 * 3-10+ years of experience in HVAC systems, mechanical systems engineering, renewable energy systems, applications engineering, controls integration, or related technical environments
 * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems
 * Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related CAD platforms
 * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
 * Experience supporting customer proposals, technical sales support, or working in applications engineering functions is preferred

## Description

This is a highly visible, cross-functional engineering role positioned between engineering, sales, operations, and R&D. The Applications Engineer will help integrate complex renewable systems into customer environments while translating technical engineering concepts into practical, customer-facing solutions.
HVAC Applications Engineer - Renewable Systems Responsibilities:

 * Support the integration of renewable an HVAC systems into customer mechanical infrastructure and building systems
 * Coordinate system applications involving pumps, valves, sensors, controls packages, flow requirements, and mechanical integration
 * Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, and R&D teams throughout project development and execution
 * Assist with technical proposals, submittals, presentations, and customer-facing documentation
 * Translate highly technical engineering and R&D information into practical customer-facing materials, specifications, and internal communication tools
 * Develop technical documentation, including schematics, installation guides, operational documentation, and training materials
 * Support field activities including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
 * Assist with performance calculations, system analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across HVAC applications
