The selected candidate is expected to be self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills., * Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or STEM-related degree, with 5 years of industry experience, or Masters degree and 3 years of industry experience. An additional 4 years' experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree. * Active Secret clearance required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance and obtain an SAP clearance for continued employment. * Experience with hardware design and/or test equipment design * Experience with the BWI factory and/or factory test cell(s) * Available onsite at the BWI facility during first shift * Leadership experience that may be in areas such as project planning, cost & schedule management including tracking, manufacturing support, vendor support, design team lead, or similar. Basic Qualification for Sr. Principal Engineer Systems * Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 8 years of industry experience, or Masters degree and 6 years of industry experience.
