This is a full-time position that works closely with Database Management and Administration of Oracle, SQL Server, and MYSQL Database technologies., Specific duties include: * Creating, modifying and monitoring physical databases to ensure database availability, integrity and efficiency; * Analyzing and troubleshooting database integrity and availability problems; * Ensuring each database is available for usage and users can retrieve and manipulate data from the database, with minimal downtime; * Reviewing, coding (where applicable), testing (where applicable), implementing, monitoring, controlling, and maintaining the physical and logical database software, configurations and definitions for each database; * Adhering to ITS coding, testing, implementation standards and procedures; and * Analyzing, planning, developing and performing database integrity checks, database recovery, and database monitoring., FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant's immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision. NOTES: Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
