## About the Role

* B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
 * The ideal candidate would have experience in an integration and control environment
 * Experience in scripting and leveraging APIs
 * Experience with the best principles, practices, and patterns of source control and software development
 * Experience with basic control cabling, network configuration, and comfortable working with third party AV hardware
 * Must be self-motivated to achieve assigned objectives with minimal supervision
 * Excellent communication skills in English
 * Proficiency in Lua scripting or similar language
 * Experience with common control protocols such as SSH, TCP, HTTP, etc.
 * Experience in UI and UX design

## Description

The Software Engineer will work with an experienced team of software, firmware, and hardware engineers to develop Plugins for the Q-SYS platform. Q-SYS is a fast growing, award winning, software and hardware platform built on cutting-edge audio, video and control products.

This position is based in Boulder, CO.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

 * Develop Plugins for the Q-SYS Platform
 * Automate third party audio, video, and control devices for complex AV system design
 * Work with Software Quality Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies
 * Perform other duties as assigned
