## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with experience in application development, team leadership, and enterprise application management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java/Scala technologies, modern microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and Agile delivery practices. This role involves leading development teams, driving product enhancements, ensuring code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders., * 10+ years of experience in software development and application management.

 * Proven experience leading and managing backend engineering teams.
 * Strong hands-on experience in:

 * Java
 * Scala
 * Spring Boot
 * Microservices Architecture
 * Experience with application lifecycle management, code reviews, and release management.
 * Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
 * Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
 * Experience working with cloud-based environments and services.
 * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Apache Kafka.
 * Experience with Akka Platform and Play Framework.
 * Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
 * Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 * Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
 * Experience working in large-scale, distributed enterprise environments is preferred.

## Description

* Lead and manage application development and enhancement teams comprising 5-10 backend engineers.
 * Oversee the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
 * Drive technical solutions using Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
 * Lead application enhancements, change management initiatives, and production support activities.
 * Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
 * Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
 * Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, SMEs, and business stakeholders to define and deliver product features.
 * Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to engineering teams.
 * Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
 * Support cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
