## About the Role

3+ years of relevant US DoD or federal experience in staff writing or reporting.
Experience creating WARs, SITREPs, executive summaries, or similar reports.
Background with a US military branch preferred.
Strong knowledge of DoD procedures, federal documentation standards, and compliance practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and official federal documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

## Description

We are seeking experienced Senior DoD Staff Writing SMEs to support an AI-focused project involving military and federal reporting. You will create, review, and evaluate DoD-style documentation while applying federal writing standards, reporting procedures, and compliance requirements.
No prior AI experience is required., Create prompts, reference materials, and high-quality responses for WARs, SITREPs, executive summaries, and performance reports.
Develop grading rubrics to evaluate AI-generated staff writing.
Produce authentic DoD-style reports and administrative documentation.
Review AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, structure, and compliance.
Provide feedback to improve prompts, responses, and evaluation standards.
Support weekly, monthly, and ad hoc federal reporting workflows.
Collaborate remotely with project teams and subject-matter experts.
