## Description

Kforce has partnered with an innovative technology organization in Indianapolis, IN that is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide the development, modernization, and long-term evolution of a mission-critical software platform. Summary: This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys balancing architecture, engineering leadership, team mentorship, and strategic technology initiatives. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders while helping shape the future direction of a highly visible platform that supports a large and growing user base. Key Responsibilities:

 * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence
 * Technical Lead will drive architectural decisions and technical direction for complex software applications
 * Partner with product and business leaders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
 * Guide modernization efforts within an existing application ecosystem
 * Review code, establish engineering best practices, and improve development processes
 * As a Technical Lead, you will support delivery planning, prioritization, and execution of key initiatives
 * Collaborate with distributed teams and external development partners
 * Assist with hiring, coaching, and developing engineering talent
 * Promote quality, reliability, performance, and maintainability across the platform
