What You Will Do as a Technology Specialist: * You will provide day-to-day technical support to agency staff by responding to service requests, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer service across educational, residential, clinical, and administrative settings. * You will assist the Senior Technician, Assistant Director of IT, and Chief Information Officer in supporting the reliable and secure operation of the agency's computer, network, telephone, and email infrastructure. * You will manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets while ensuring requests are documented, categorized, and completed accurately and efficiently. * You will diagnose hardware, software, network, and user-access issues by communicating with staff, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. * You will assist with escalated technical issues, contribute to problem resolution efforts, and support projects that improve technology services throughout the organization. * You will maintain accurate documentation related to support requests, system configurations, technology assets, inventories, equipment installations, and project activities. * You will help coordinate and maintain agency-wide technology inventories, ensuring equipment is properly tagged, tracked, and assigned. * You will assist in evaluating hardware and technology needs, providing recommendations regarding equipment replacement, upgrades, and lifecycle management. * You will contribute to the development of technical documentation, knowledge-base resources, standard operating procedures, and best practices that enhance service quality and operational efficiency. * You will participate in technology projects, implementations, upgrades, and departmental initiatives that support Anderson's strategic goals. * You will continue developing your technical knowledge through training, professional development opportunities, and ongoing learning related to emerging technologies and industry best practices. * You will help create a technology environment that empowers employees to focus on what matters most: supporting individuals with autism and enhancing their quality of life., * Complete and maintain all required agency and departmental training. * Maintain accurate records, documentation, inventories, and technical support information. * Communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively with colleagues, supervisors, families, and stakeholders. * Demonstrate accountability, integrity, and sound stewardship of agency technology resources. * Support collaboration and teamwork across departments. * Follow agency policies, security protocols, and operational procedures. * Promote a culture of innovation, responsibility, and continuous improvement., This position description in no way states or implies that the responsibilities listed are the only duties to be performed by the person filling this position.
