## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or related engineering/science degree with applicable course work and knowledge.
 * You must be able to work in a team environment both locally and globally.

 * Coursework in medical device development, design control, FDA and MDR regulations
 * Class experience in using AI in code and test development
 * Digital circuit design knowledge
 * Experience with C/C++ and Python

## Description

In this exciting role as a Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer I, you will have responsibility for designing, implementing, and testing embedded software/firmware that maximizes the value of our oximetry and anesthesia monitoring products for our customers.

This is an onsite role located at our Lafayette, CO campus.

Primary Responsibilites:

 * You will design, develop, test, document, and maintain embedded software and firmware using mixed-signal MCUs for vital sign monitoring platforms
 * You will apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and wide range of products.
 * You may engage with internal and external stakeholders, including interfacing with clinicians, customers, and KOLs, to better understand use environments and needs.
 * You will learn about the technologies used to measure physiological signals and knowledge of human physiology to support product design decisions and prioritize design tradeoffs.
