Nice to Have Qualifications: * Experience working within the insurance and financial services industry. * AWS Certifications. * Familiarity with advanced AWS services such as X-Ray, SQS, SES, ACM, WAF, Connect, Lex, and SSM. * Knowledge of UX principles to enhance product usability and customer experience within the life insurance domain. * Prior experience working in modernization or related digital transformation initiatives. * Proficiency with one or more these programming languages: Python (boto3, SMTPlib), Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript/TypeScript, and scripting languages. ## Description The Life Modernization Claims One Team is seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to assist with the design, build, and maintenance of our new Additional Party Database on AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and supporting the cloud platform that powers filing a life claim on statefarm.com. Our One Team structure is comprised of both Life Business Partner teammates and IT/Enterprise Technology Life teammates working together, co-led by a Life Business Sr. Manager and an IT Engineering Manager. Additionally, you will work with identifying, designing, building, and supporting GenAI solutions that help associates pay claims more quickly and accurately, leading to reduced lead times and improved beneficiary experience and satisfaction.
