Internships, co-ops, and equivalent project experience may be considered. * Foundational understanding of functional testing, regression testing, and the defect lifecycle. * Experience creating or maintaining automated tests using common testing tools or frameworks. * Basic knowledge of REST API testing, including requests, responses, HTTP status codes, and authentication concepts. * Familiarity with at least one programming, scripting, or query language such as Java, JavaScript, or SQL. * Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows such as branching, pull requests, and code reviews. * Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and willingness to learn pipeline-based automated testing. * Understanding of secure test-data handling and safe logging practices. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to clearly document test results and software defects. * Strong collaboration skills and willingness to learn from feedback. ## Description Seeking for a Junior Functional/Automation Tester to support software quality assurance and testing activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role will perform functional, regression, API, and automated testing, document and track defects, and collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
