This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple systems to deliver actionable insights that enhance student success, operational efficiency, and institutional effectiveness. This role will partner closely with departments such as Enrollment, Finance, Student Success, and Academic Affairs, and will contribute to the university's broader data strategy by developing dashboards, reports, and scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate is both analytical and curious, with the ability to leverage modern data tools-including AI-assisted analytics and visualization platforms-to accelerate insights and improve outcomes., * Analyze data from enterprise systems (e.g., SIS, CRM, LMS, financial systems) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities * Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Support institutional reporting needs, including enrollment, retention, financial, and operational metrics * Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making Data Visualization & Reporting * Design and develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms * Create intuitive, user-friendly visualizations that drive self-service data usage across departments * Ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting definitions and metrics AI-Enabled Data Analysis * Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., generative AI, automated analytics platforms) to accelerate data exploration, pattern recognition, and insight generation * Leverage AI for data preparation, anomaly detection, forecasting, and natural language querying of datasets * Assist in evaluating and implementing AI tools that enhance analytics capabilities across the institution * Promote responsible and ethical use of AI in data analysis and reporting Data Management & Integration * Work with data engineers and IT teams to access and integrate data from various sources * Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems * Support the development of a centralized data warehouse or data platform * Assist in defining and maintaining data standards and documentation Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement * Partner with campus stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver meaningful solutions * Provide training and support for end users in accessing and interpreting data * Contribute to a culture of data literacy and data-informed decision-making across the university, * SEU promotes a safe working environment.
