This position will operate a company box truck and forklift while maintaining accurate inventory transactions related to material movement. The position will also support inventory control activities, including physical inventory counts, variance investigation, tracking, and reporting., * Safely operate a company box truck to transport door components, materials, and other inventory between designated warehouse and manufacturing locations. * Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with company safety procedures. * Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move materials. * Complete accurate inventory transactions for all material movements between locations. * Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical movements are properly reflected in the inventory system. * Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts as assigned. * Identify, document, and investigate inventory variances. * Track inventory discrepancies and provide variance information and reports to management. * Assist with inventory reconciliation and other inventory control activities as needed. * Maintain an organized and safe warehouse and material-handling environment. * Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. * Perform other duties as assigned., Woodgrain is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free workplace.
