## About the Role

* 4-6 years of experience with ServiceNow Development.
 * Broad IT experience of working within a large enterprise on implementation initiatives.
 * Candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as ITSM, Service Portal, Custom apps, Governance, Risk & Compliance.
 * Should have understanding on ITIL/ITSM processes.
 * Good hands-on knowledge and experience of JavaScript, Glide and Jelly Scripting.
 * Design and modify ServiceNow forms, scripts, transform maps, service maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and more.
 * Knowledge of best practices in ServiceNow development activities/coding.
 * Integration with 3rd party tools using (web services, REST, SOAP, email, MID, etc)
 * Troubleshooting Service Now performance issues.
 * ServiceNow GRC implementation or development experience will be added value

Roles & Responsibilities:

 * Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.
 * Help design and implement new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
 * Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, CMDB, GRC, Custom Development, etc
 * Conduct Proof of Concept activities when necessary.
 * Prepare run books on specific technology areas.
 * Experience with release/version upgrades including scheduling cloning and migration of data from instances with ServiceNow.
 * Ability to multi-task and change priorities as needed.
 * Applies innovative technical solutions to business and the application processes.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Excellent analytical and Strong problem-solving skills
 * Excellent teamwork and team building skills.

Academic & Professional Skills:

 * ServiceNow System certified administration is a must
 * Certified Implementation Specialist- ITSM is a must
 * ITIL Foundations certification is a must.
 * Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education.
