You will be at the heart of shaping and implementing enterprise-wide security architecture, with a strong focus on data protection and Azure/cloud security. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you will ensure security solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with our client's strategic objectives., * Data Protection & Security: Lead data classification, discovery, labelling, governance, retention/disposal, and lifecycle controls across structured and unstructured data. * Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, SaaS): Define and validate secure architectures for cloud platforms, application security, and infrastructure protection. * Regulatory Frameworks: Apply security controls in line with GDPR, Swift CSP, DORA, PCI-DSS, SOX and other relevant regulations. * Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate clearly with business, IT, risk, compliance, and engineering teams, acting as a trusted subject matter expert. * Solution & Enterprise Design: Translate business requirements and risk assessments into practical security architecture requirements and high-level designs. * Security Governance & Best Practice: Facilitate consistent use of security principles, tools, and standards across projects and new platforms. * Agile & Architecture Alignment (Nice to Have): Experience working in Agile environments and aligning architecture across release trains. * Financial Services / Critical Infrastructure: Background in highly regulated, mission-critical environments is a strong asset. * Coaching & Awareness: Ability to mentor others and build security awareness across our client's team.
