## About the Role

* At least 3 years of relevant backend engineering experience
 * Experience with Java, Kotlin, or Python
 * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD processes
 * Knowledge of cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure is a strong plus
 * Experience with Kafka and Terraform is a plus
 * A completed technical MSc or PhDis a strong plus
 * Strong communication skills

You'll build scalable, event-driven systems with Java, Kotlin, and Kafka, run in GCP, and automate using modern CI/CD and Terraform. Your focus will be on performance, scalability, and reliability while researching and implementing new technologies to keep the platform future-proof.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists, and researchers. In this environment, you'll have the freedom and technical challenges to take your skills to the next level, making a direct impact on the platform's evolution.
