Bench IT require a Senior Java Software Engineer to join a large organization supporting large-scale media organisations. The role is working hybrid (1 day per week onsite). The successful candidates will have strong Java development experience and the ability to work independently.

The successful Senior Java Developer should have the skills and experience included below;

Key Skills:

 * Strong Java
 * Scripting - Python, Bash or Ruby
 * Test-driven Development methods - TDD, BDD
 * Lead design and development, test and trouble-shooting of software solutions and tools
 * Drives best practice methods and processes
 * Good understanding of OO Principles
 * Mature understanding of the SDLC
 * Good understanding of Software Design
 * Mature understanding of software testing, Unit testing, Integration Testing
 * Excellent communicator - working with principal developers and architects to forge software solutions to the highest standards
