## About the Role

* Degree in computer science, maths, physics or similar.
 * Commercial software experience writing visualisation pipeline tools based around manipulation of numerical data. Will have experience of modern languages such as C#, JavaScript, C++ or Java.
 * Exposure to scientific instrumentation data formats such as CSV files.
 * Experience with numerical Python scripts and understanding of how to turn this into maintainable code.
 * Ambitions to lead projects and a team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on greenfield projects, and play a significant role in shaping the tools developed and used by this company. In turn, whilst this is a hands-on position, there are future plans to grow the software team and this can lead to managerial responsibilities.
