## About the Role

* BSc in mathematics (or similar) or MMath, followed by a PhD in computational biology or biostatistics.
 * Postdoc experience (in a different lab to your PhD) or post-PhD industry experience on biostatistics applied projects (ideally cancer genomic data sets).
 * Strong scientific programming experience (using Python and / or R) applied to statistical techniques to biological problems including novel algorithm development.
 * Experience of commercial software development practices including regulatory standards and associated quality assurances.
